As with previous reviews found the technical dept useless . Brand new Canon printer which printed blank sheets. As soon as I started to talk to the sept instantly thought they were clueless and I was right. Agreed eventually item must be faulty and to return for replacement and would email confirming as such. Email received and couldn’t even get that right as said replacement! No confidence at all with a supposed expert! I think I knew more

Pity the score doesn't go to 0. Went on support chat to ask about my Pixma printer error code, only to be told I had to sign up to a support contract to get advice. The canon support centre is so far away it is MUCH cheaper to drop the printer in a skip and buy a new one (definitely not Canon).

Distribution is from Holland. EU plug not a UK plug. I thought such stupidity went out in the 1970's...oh and there is no response from Canon. Avoid - but HP are just as bad.

Bought a Canon printer which has not been able to print properly. spoke to anna in customer services - 'said there is an internal fault' but we dont do repairs. I was not satisfied wanted to speak to a manager - unavailable, nobody avilable in complaints either - what a mess - what a useless customer advisor

I bought a Pixma G3501 printer in February 2022, which included a 2 year warranty. It’s now June 2022, the printer is broken and Canon will not fix or replace it in line with the Consumer Rights Act. Warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on and Customer Service is absolutely appalling.

Extremely bad printers. You will have to reconfigure the settings every once in a while as it will randomly stop working for no reason. Been having multiple problems with their printer. And their support page for error codes is laughable. They just shift the problem instead of actually trying to fix it. Do not buy a printer here.

I recently placed an order paying just under £4,000 for a camera and lens and they cancelled my order and have not refunded me the money. They won’t tell me when I will receive the money back. You don’t get to speak to someone in the UK it’s outsourced. So your speaking with people who have English as a second language and the connection is poor. Stay well clear of this company.

I had no idea that I would have an issue with such a well known company. I didn’t even think I would need to check reviews.

Can you imagine paying such a huge amount of money and not getting anything in return. Their company is poorly run.

I called the bank twice and they said that my money was on reserve with Canon and I had to wait 10 days until I received the money back. What a lot of stress. Then I received an email yesterday saying my order was processed and they delivered my camera and lens today. I will be sticking to ordering via Amazon in the future. I had just read a couple of bad reviews about the quality of the product so decided to order directly from canon.

A word of advice. If you need a new printer quickly don’t order direct from Canon. It is taking too long, I have discovered today that from the point you order to the point of it being sent can take 5-7 business days.

Amazon deliver the following day, better still go to a shop and buy one over the counter especially if you need one urgently.

Looking at the reviews of the printers on here I regret ordering direct from Canon. A combination of Canon and UPS is guaranteed to make your life a misery. The respective contact centres have proved to be about as much use as the proverbial chocolate teapot.

Update: What a saga this is turning out to be. Ordered printer 10/6, dispatch 14/6. Will now take 2-3 days to reach the UK via UPS because the warehouse is in Holland. I will take a few days to appear on the UPS tracking system, by which time it will probably
have been delivered! What a complete shambles of a company Canon are. Nowhere whilst ordering direct from Canon did it say this printer will take a week to arrive, do you still want to order? Had I known then what I know now I would have gone to a local shop even though printers are a few pounds more expensive. Canon is now on my don’t buy list and I will be recounting this farcical story to anyone and everyone who will listen!

Update: I now have four emails telling me the printer will be delivered today. So In the space of 24hrs I have gone from no one knowing where this wretched printer is to emails coming from all directions telling me the printer will be delivered today! You could not make this up if you tried..

Really fed up with the cost of the cartridges and the heavy ink usage caused by constant and unnecessary head cleaning which is clearly a nasty moneymaking ploy.
I wouldn't dream of giving such a financial liability to anyone so it has been taken to the local rubbish tip, the first time ever that I've junked a fully functioning piece of equipment.

Absolutely awful experience. This company has given me so much stress and anxiety in the last couple of days it is unbelievable. 5-7 days 5-7 days 5-7 days thats all i am hearing!!! The customer service agents are pathetic they act sweet and innocent but they are a load of crap they dont care wether you pay 2 grand 3 grand for their products at all i have requested several updates as i didnt even receive one order confirmation after spending a large amount of money on the website !!! Absolutely hate them!! Disgusting liars!!! Requested a refund and the response was “nothing can be done at this stage” when the tracking has said nothing but “label created”

I wish I had read reviews first. Canon has always been a big name brand so upon finding a cheap printer online I thought I’d order along with paper. The same day I get an email stating the product would arrive “from Holland” the following day. I waited a few days and kept tracking my product but it only showed the label having been printed. There wasn’t any info for customer services that I could see. I see a few people on here have had the same issue. If I ran a business I’d be on top of orders etc every minute of the day and made sure orders went out and that I could be contacted for any queries. Requested a refund via PayPal and going to do what I should have done in the first place - order through Argos.

Bought printer and still not shipped off after 4 days. Ups tracking shows label printed but nothing has happened. Had email finally showing printer shipped today but ups does not have any tracking. Delivery takes more than one week. Not impressed so far.

Worst Customer service ever, I've contacted Canon twice to find out when I will be receiving my deliver and both times they have been unhelpful, I bought a camera for a project and will now need to hire equipment, which will end up costing me twice, all because Canon cannot confirm when the delivery will take place, all they say is that it will be delivered within 5-7 working days after placing the order. Ridiculous service and intelligence insult, I will for sure never buy anything direct, might even change my mind over the coming day and return the parcel as is, Sony is perhaps looking like a better option at this stage.

So bought a Mega tank printer (Pixma G3501) and happy with it for 2 years until today ....
Not printing black (fundamental really), clean the heads as the good manual tells you too until.... the ink absorber (first i have heard of this) is full error message 5B00.
Basically when you clean the heads the ink used passes onto a scrappy bit of sponge which is not replaceable. Oh the clever guys at Canon have also put a software lock on it, so you can clean the sponge (not a replaceable part ) but it still won't work. Internet full of software saying they can reset the counters but guess what, full of spyware.

So thank you Canon for the what is now a heap of junk ready for scrapping, your eco credentials are bogus and instead of ripping off consumers with ink now your ripping them off with printer hardware with hidden time bombs!!!
